Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench to score again for Leicester City at Chelsea tonight, but it proved to be only a consolation in a hard-fought contest.
He was set up by fellow Nigeria star Wilfred Ndidi to reduce the tally to 2-1 in the 76th minute.
This was a rematch of this year’s FA Cup Final played at Wembley between the two clubs.
Leicester City made history by winning their first FA Cup at the expense of Chelsea.
However, they are now in danger of again missing out on playing in the UEFA Champions League, which would have brought in more money into their coffers.
Chelsea have overtaken them in third place with 66 points, while Leicester City are fourth on 65 points with a round of matches till the end of the season.
