For today’s decisive 2022 World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde, Odion Ighalo is the only change to the Super Eagles starting XI from Saturday’s clash against Liberia in Morocco.
The experienced striker has been recalled from international retirement and has now been picked ahead of Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho.
He will lead the strike force with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen playing slightly behind him.
Otherwise, coach Gernot Rohr will stick to a 3-5-2 formation with Moses Simon and Jamilu Collins maintaining their positions as wing backs.
Kick-off time is 5pm at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
