Odion Ighalo has made a strong case for a sensational Super Eagles return after he shot to the top of the goals race in Saudi Arabia with his ninth goal of the season.
Al Shabab trounced Al Tai 3-0 at home Thursday with Ighalo grabbing his team’s second goal on 23 minutes.
It was even more satisfying for the experienced striker as his children were in the stands to watch him score.
He has now matched the nine goals he scored when he moved to Saudi Arabia mid-season.
His club now have 18 points from 10 matches, two points behind leaders and defending champions Al Hilal.
