Odion Ighalo has promised new Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal more goals after he made a goal-scoring debut in his first official game as they beat Al Jazira 6-1 in a FIFA Club World Cup game at the weekend.
It was the first-ever goal scored by a Nigerian player in the competition.
Ighalo, who recently joined Al Hilal from another Saudi club Al Shabab, opened the scoring in the 36th minute to lead the way for his club.
“Destiny child on assignment. First of many goals,” Ighalo took to his Instagram page to reveal his ambition.
Al Hilal have now set up a semifinal clash with European champions Chelsea.
This season, he has scored 12 goals in Saudi professional league.
