Galatasaray captain Mauro Icardi has said the transfer of Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sane has got more top stars to now wish to play in Turkey.
Icardi also said he is happy to have led this revolution in Turkish football.
“Turkish football? Players like Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sane have arrived, and it was unthinkable before,” he said ahead of a UEFA Champions League clash against Belgian champions Union St.Gilloise
“There are many players who want to come to Turkey, and it’s great pride and honour for me to have contributed to this.
“It was important to earn the people’s love. It’s become a country where all the players in the world want to come to.”
