Turkish league one side Kocaelispor announced they have reached an agreement with Menemenspor to sign Rasheed Ibrahim Akanbi.
The Nigerian striker will sign a year and half deal with another year’s option after undergoing a routine medical.
Rasheed joined Menemenspor from the Regional Amateur League team Foça Belediyespor in January 2020 and has scored 13 goals and 6 assists in 47 official matches for the club.
“Our club have reached an agreement with the football player and his club regarding the transfer of Nigerian football player Rasheed Ibrahim Akanbi, who plays for Nasadoge Menemenspor,” a club statement said.
“A 1.5-year (+1 year option) contract will be signed with Rasheed Ibrahim Akanbi after the health checks.”
