7 Francis Uzoho
The experienced shot stopper showed more confidence and a remarkable improvement on his footwork after he was named in place of No 1 Stanley Nwabali. He would have been disappointed not to have kept a clean sheet on his return after a long absence.
6 Ryan Alebiosu
The Blackburn Rovers fullback posted a decent Super Eagles debut. He looked dangerous when he surged forward into attack, but on a number of occasions he lost his attacker.

7 Bruno Onyemaechi
He was again solid in defence, but still needs to work more on his attacking play.
7.5 Igho Ogbu
A dominant display by the Slavia Praha defensive strongman in the heart of the back four. He was confident pushing into attack as well as did his primary job without mush hassles.
7 Calvin Bassey
Enjoyed a duel with fellow big man Uche Ikpeazu of Uganda. He led by example from the heart of the defence. He is playing his best football for many years.
8 Samuel Chukwueze
He delivered two assists and enjoyed a decent shift. He is a worthy cover for Ademola Lookman as Nigeria march into the business end of the tournament.

7.5 Fisayo Dele-Bashiru
An energetic performance by the Lazio man and he provided the assist for the opening goal by Onuachu. He again demonstrated the depth in the Super Eagles squad.
9.5 Raphael Onyedika 9.5 MAN OF THE MATCH
He shone in his first start in Morocco with two well-taken goals and a confident overall display in defensive midfield. Ge should be pushing captain Wilfred Ndidi for the first-team spot on the strength on what he produced tonight.
7 Moses Simon
He was lively on the left flank even though he did not have any end product. His direct play will come in handy as the competition progresses.
7 Victor Osimhen
No goal for the birthday boy and stand-in captain, but he was selfless upfront. He played a captain’s game, leading by example.

7.5 Paul Onuachu
He opened scoring with an opportunistic strike after he was denied by a point-blank save by the Uganda goalkeeper and captain Onyango moments earlier. He also showed his great passing range, spraying passes across the pitch, one of which led to the Super Eagles goal.
6 Chidozie Awaziem
He replaced Bassey for the start of the second half and was unlucky not to make connection with a ball inside the Uganda goal area in the 50th minute.
6 Zaidu Sanusi
A late sub for Onyemaechi.
6.5 Tochukwu Nnadi
He was busy and lively when he was brought on late on for Onuachu.
