The Super Eagles showed class tonight to dump Mozambique 4-0 and qualify for the quarterfinal of the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.
SCORENigeria rates the individual performances of the players who did Nigeria proud.
7 Stanley Nwabali
He did not have to make a big save tonight as his defence kept out the opposing team from start to finish. His erratic behaviour now seems to be history, thankfully.
7 Bruno Onyemaechi
The Olympiacos fullback has nailed his place in the starting XI in Morocco after he was frozen out two years ago in Cote d’Ivoire. He has grown in confidence as a result to the overall benefit of the team.
7 Bright Osayi-Samuel
Effective and was not found wanting in his primary role. He also ventured forward and was unlucky not to have got on the scoresheet in the second half.

7 Semi Ajayi
Mr Consistency. He has continued to get on with the job with any fuss. He has enjoyed a great combo with calvin Bassey.
7.5 Calvin Bassey
Again the Fulham star was the most reliable player in defence on the night. He has made remarkable progress in the last few years and that has explained why he has played every minute under coach Eric Chelle. However, his booking was unnecessary and hopefully it won’t count for much as the team make their way to the championship.

7.5 Wilfred Ndidi
He has enjoyed his captaincy, hardly putting a foot wrong in defensive midfield and simply leading by example.
7 Frank Onyeka
Again ran his socks off in midfield and covered every blade of grass to stabilise the midfield in a 4-3-3 formation that has worked well for the Super Eagles in Morocco.
8 Alex Iwobi
He was involved in the first three goals scored by the Super Eagles with some delightful passing from deep in midfield to set up the attack. A key player as the team racked up their fourth straight win at this AFCON.

9 Ademola Lookman Man of Match
Yet another outstanding individual display with a goal and two assists. In total he has now recorded three goals, to match the tally he enjoyed in Cote d’Ivoire two years ago, and four assists. He is again enjoying only his second AFCON.
8 Victor Osimhen
He fired a brace tonight to take his tally to three goals at this tournament. He is now just three goals shy of the Eagles all-time goals record of the legendary Rashidi Yekini. Could he surpass this at this tournament?
8.5 Jerome Akor
The hard working Sevilla striker finally opened his AFCON goals account. He also helped himself to two assists on the night. A fitting reward to his selfless play for the team in Morocco.
7 Moses Simon
His direct play came to the fore when he replaced Osimhen in the 68th minute. The speedy winger was denied a goal by the Mozambique goalkeeper by the near post.
Raphael Onyedika, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Paul Onuachu and Samuel Chukwueze were late subs
