Hosts of the WAFU B U17 AFCON qualifiers Ghana have fired a big warning to the Golden Eaglets and other teams after they saw off Niger 2-0 in a warm-up game.
The Black Starlets scored in both halves against Niger, who are drawn in Group B alongside Nigeria.
The Black Starlets failed to qualify for the 2023 AFCON even after they hosted the sub-regional qualifiers the previous year.
They even lost to the Golden Eaglets 2-0 in a group game.
For this tournament, which kicks off Wednesday, the host nation trained in Russia.
The Golden Eaglets, who have again been depleted by failure of the MRI age test, open their campaign Thursday against Burkina Faso.
