The Super Falcons are so far being held to a scoreless draw by Algeria in this final WAFCON Group B clash in Casablanca.
Coach Justine Madugu made as many as eight changes to the Starting XI from the last-minute victory over Botswana as the Super Falcons have already sealed their passage to the last-eight of the tournament on the back of two victories.
Algeria have gained in confidence as the game wore on and they were still on level terms with their more illustrious opponents.
Ifeoma Onumonu and Francisca Ordega justified their first starts as they proved to be the main goal threat against the North Africans.
In the 22nd minute, Montpellier striker Onumonu was barely beaten to the ball by her marker after she was set up in front of goal.
Three minutes, captain Rasheedat Ajibade lifted the ball into the box, but Chinwendu Ihezuo failed to connect.
Onumonu was also denied at the break by a last-ditch tackle by an Algerian tackle for both sides to go into the dressing at par.
