The Flying Eagles lead Tunisia 1-0 in this opening Group B match of the 2025 U20 AFCON in Egypt.
Midfielder Auwal Ibrahim ‘Germany’ broke the deadlock in the 38th minute of a closely fought contest.
Left back Odinaka Okoro set up Ibrahim to finish off a superb team play.
Star striker Kparobo Arierhi forced the Tunisian goalkeeper in the 12th minute as the game swung from one end of the pitch to the other.
The Flying Eagles were licky to not to concede earlier on this match as finishing let them down after they carved out at least two clear-cut chances.
