Golden Eaglets captain David Edeh has fully recovered from a knock during the team’s opening game against Benin and will be available for selection against Burkina Faso Saturday afternoon.
Edeh, whose free kick goal put Nigeria 2-0 up against Benin Wednesday, was replaced in the second half after he was hit on the chest by a desperate Benin player.
“He is now fully recovered,” Golden Eaglets spokesman Francis Achi disclosed.
The Golden Eaglets will tackle Burkina Faso Saturday to determine who wins Group B of the WAFU B U17 AFCON qualifiers in Cote d’Ivoire.
The group winners will face the runners-up in Group A in the semifinal of the qualifying tournament.
