Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali shone with Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro watching in the stands today as Chippa United beat Golden Arrows 2-0 in a South African PSL clash.
Nwabali posted his sixth clean sheet of the season for Chippa United to record their first home win over Arrows in three years.
It was a performance the TV commentator described as “fantastic” as the former Lobi Stars shot stopper continued from where he left off last season.
Nwabali was confident and commanding from start to finish and pulled off a big save in the 70th minute to deny the visiting team an equaliser.

Peseiro flew into South Africa to take a closer look at the experienced giant goalkeeper, who is already tracked by several top PSL clubs on the back of what he showed at modest Chippa United last season.
