Cyriel Dessers has said finishing as the Goal King in Scotland is a little consolation for not lifting a major trophy with Rangers this season.
The Super Eagles striker was top scorer of the Scottish Premier League with 18 goals in 36 appearances.
It is an improvement on the 16 goals he netted the previous season.
It was also a campaign that saw him reach the 50-goal mark in all competitions for Rangers.
He said the hot-shot award was a reward for never giving up.
“Scottish Premiership Top Scorer 2024-25,” Dessers posted on social media
“Not the big trophy we all wanted, but a wee reward for never giving up…”
