Sensational Nigerian striker Gift Orban is no longer the most valuable player in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, according to the updated Transfermarkt
Gift Orban was before now rated as the most valuable player in Belgium at a pricy 20 Million Euros, but he has now been toppled by Antwerp midfielder Arthur Vermeeren.
Vermeeren, who recently earned a call-up to the Red Devils of Belgium, now has a market value of 25 Million Euros, while Antonio Nusa, whose father is Nigerian, is joint second with Gift Orban on a value of 20 Million Euros.
Ironically, both Gift Orban and Nusa share the same agent, Atta Aneke.
After a sensational run in the second half of last season, Gift Orban has remarkably slowed down at KAA Gent most probably because he did not make the big-money transfer many expected him to do in the summer.
The explosive bomber, 21, who has his roots in Benue State, last scored a goal in August.
