Genk record signing Rafiu Durosinmi has already won the praise of his coach even before the new season has got underway.
Coach Jess Thorup said he believes Durosinmi will take Belgium by storm before he moves to a bigger league.
“I am convinced of Durosinmi’s qualities because he possesses very specific weapons. Exactly the ones you need in the demanding Belgian league,” he remarked.
“He is tall, has excellent heading ability, and is strong in duels.”
The coach said a striker who makes it in Belgium will be ready for the higher rated German Bundesliga.
“A striker who makes it in Belgium is ready for the Bundesliga,” he concluded.
“That is why the Jupiler Pro League is scouted so intensively there. I spent two years at Augsburg, I know what I’m talking about.”
