Turkish giants Galatasaray under a new management have made known their decision on whether or not they will buy Henry Onyekuru on a permanent basis after his third loan spell at the club.
Onyekuru himself has said he hopes he will sign a permanent contract at the Istanbul club.
However, ‘Gala’ under newly elected chairman Burak Elmas said they will not take up the buy-out clause that would have given the 24-year-old winger a permanent deal.
They would have had to pay at least 4.3 Million Euros to sign Onyekuru, who scored five goals as ‘Gala’ finished runners-up to Besiktas in the Super Lig.
Coach Fatih Terim, who has remained in charge of the team, revealed that he left it to the management to decide on the fate of Onyekuru because it had to do with finance.
