Galatasaray have left out Victor Osimhen from a Turkish Cup tie at Alanyaspor tomorrow.
Osimhen is one of several key players left out of the squad for them to observe “active rest”, according to an official statement by the Turkish champions.
Incidentally, Osimhen scored a goal and made an assist for Galatasaray to beat Alanyaspor 3-1 at the weekend in the Super Lig match.
Galatasaray have a congested schedule that will see them play six matches in 19 days including a two-legged UEFA Champions League against Liverpool.
