Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka has been ruled out of next month’s World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde after he tested positive for Coronavirus.
Onyeka will now have to quarantine for at least 10 days which will mean he cannot make it for the two games.
He was set to return to the national team to challenge fellow Premier League stars Wilfred Ndidi and Oghenekaro Etebo a year after he flopped on his debut against Algeria.
Malmo star Innocent Bonke, who was listed as one of seven replacement players, is now most likely to come in for Onyeka.
