Forgotten Super Eagles midfielder Anderson Esiti has been named in the Team of the Week in Belgium on the last day of action.
The hard-tackling defensive midfielder was “strong as a bear” against Anderlecht for KAA Gent this past week.
Esiti has been dogged by injuries as well as transfer talks to limit his impact this past season.
He was devastated when a proposed transfer to La Liga club Levante UD fell through.
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has overlooked Esiti since he first called him up in 2016.
