SCORENigeria has specially learnt that Flying Eagles midfielder Ayotomiwa Dele-Bashiru could be headed to Serie A club Atalanta after his contract at Manchester City was not renewed.
“He was weighing the offer before the U20 World Cup and now that he was not given a contract by Manchester City, he is most likely to consider a move to Italy with Atalanta,” a source close to the player informed SCORENigeria
Atalanta finished third in the Serie A this past season in Italy and will feature in the UEFA Champions League in the coming season.
Dele-Bashiru, who will be 20 in September, has only made an appearance for the Manchester City first team and that was a cup game in 2017.
