Former Nigeria youth international Jerome Akor has said he is aiming high with his new Norwegian club Lillestrom.
Akor has signed a three-year deal with the Oslo club from Sogndal, who play in the second-tier league in Norway.
“I’m just looking forward to what awaits. I love the stadium here, and I am also happy that there is natural grass here,” Akor told the website of his new club.
“My ambition is to do the best for the team and win trophies. Everything is possible, that is my starting point, and the goal is for Lillestrøm to win the league or cup.”
The 21-year-old forward will be presented to the fans on Sunday during the interval in the final game of the season at home against Sandefjord.
He scored 10 goals for Sogndal this season, but again the club failed to win promotion back to the top league.
