Czech club Dynamo České Budějovice have announced the arrival of young Nigerian defender Amos Ochoche from French club Stade Reims.
“I’m happy to join Dynamo. The guys have welcomed me well, which makes me very happy. It’s a great opportunity for me and an important step in my career,” said Ochoche, who has been capped by the Flying Eagles.
“I’m looking forward to getting started. My goal is to adapt as quickly as possible and contribute to the team.
“I want to work hard every day, constantly improve and help the team achieve its goals this season – not only me, but also my new teammates. I want to perform consistently and support the team in any way I can. I’m focused on giving my best.”
He spent less than two years in France, never playing a single competitive match for the Reims A-team. He played for the B-team and the U20 national team.
“Amos is a 19-year-old right-back. He compensates for his small stature with unwavering determination and energy, which also brings valuable support in attack. He was a member of the Nigeria starting line-up at the Under-20 World Cup last year. He still has significant room for further improvement,” remarked sports director Michäel Michée.
