The Super Eagles have dropped three spots to be 35th in the latest FIFA Rankings, while Sierra Leone climbed four places on the back of the draws between the two West African countries.
The Leone Stars staged a remarkable comeback against three-time African champions Nigeria in Benin City to draw 4-4, before they held their more illustrious foes to a barren draw in Sierra Leone in AFCON qualifiers this month.
Nigeria are now 35th in the world and fourth in Africa as a result of these draws.
Sierra Leone, on the other hand, moved to 116th in the FIFA ratings from 120.
The recent draws have sparked agitation for the sack of Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, who has been charge of Nigeria since 2016.
