World football governing body FIFA have finally approved an application by Leicester City forward Ademola Lookman to change his international allegiance to Nigeria.
Lookman, a daring winger who weighs in with his fair share of goals and assists, was born in England to Nigerian parents.
He has previously featured for several England age-grade teams even winning the U17 FIFA World Cup with his adopted country.
He could now make his Super Eagles debut next month in a World Cup playoff against rivals Ghana as the green light from FIFA came too late for the recent AFCON in Cameroon.
Victor Moses, William Ekong, Cyriel Dessers, Leon Balogun, Kevin Akpoguma and Maduka Okoye are some of the players who have opted to play for Nigeria ahead of other options.

In this case, Nigeria is his adopted country not England. England is his country of birth
