The FCT Football Association chairman Adam Mouktar Mohammed has lauded a partnership with the Hungary embassy in Nigeria along with Dreamland Academy to promote various sports, saying it will offer more opportunities for stakeholders in the FCT.
The partnership followed a high-level meeting involving Ambassador of Hungary to Nigeria Sandor Beer, FCT FA boss Mouktar Mohammed and founder/CEO of Dreamland Football Academy Ndudi Edede.
They agreed to collaborate on various sporting events like the upcoming Abuja Beach Soccer Tournament; Teqball, which has its origins in Hungary, and the 8th Dreamland Embassy of Hungary Cup slated for May.
Other areas of co-operation will be to do with seminars and courses for coaches and referees.
“We are excited to partner the Hungary Embassy as well as the Dreamland Academy on various programmes because this will open up more opportunities for stakeholders in the Federal Capital Territory,” Mouktar Mohammed said.
“The FA is vigorously looking out for opportunities and so the need to reach out to organisations who can provide this.”
It would be recalled that recently the FA boss also visited the embassy of Belgium in Nigeria.
