FC Nantes president Waldemar Kita has announced his Ligue 1 club will activate the option to buy Moses Simon for five million Euros after his successful loan spell from La Liga side UD Levante.
“Normally, we will exercise the option to buy (Moses Simon). We will keep him. He is an excellent player, with a good mentality,” Kita told Presse Ocean in an interview.
Moses Simon, 24, enjoyed a successful season with ‘The Canaries’ after netting nine goals and providing eight assists in 30 games in all competitions.
Earlier reports have suggested that Nantes will buy Simon from Levante and then sell him to another club for a huge profit.
Ligue 1 clubs Lyon and Stade Rennes are interested in buying the racy left winger.
