Struggling German Bundesliga club FC Cologne are pushing for a loan transfer of Club Brugge winger Emmanuel Dennis before the window closes in a week, according to media reports.
Dennis exit out of the Belgian champions has been on the cards for most of last year, but the huge asking price of between 20 and 25 million Euros appears to have scared away suitors.
Het Laatste Nieuws reported that Cologne are desperate for more firepower as they battle to stay up in the Bundesliga and Dennis could bring that on board.
They are currently 16th on the table with 15 points from 18 matches, two points away from safety.
They want to loan him till the end of the season, but so far there has been no mention of an option for a permanent transfer.
Dennis, 23, has also recently been linked with another Bundesliga club, Hertha Berlin.
He has most recently made the headlines for the wrong reasons and last featured for Club Brugge in December 2020.
