Sunday Faleye has said his Austrian club FC Wacker Innsbruck will be going for broke in Friday’s league game at Austria Wien 2 as they hope to end a losing run, which has seen them lose their last two home games.
Hosts Wacker Innsbruck fell 3-0 to Lanitz and then the following weekend 2-1 to Kapfenberger SV.
They are now just a point outside the relegation zone with 13 points from 10 matches.
“We are ready to give our best again after we lost six points and that’s not good for us,” he said in an interview monitored by SCORENigeria
“We have not done very well recently. We ought to have won those games but we didn’t take our chances.
“We now have to go to Vienna and come back with the points.
“We know the importance of the game as a win will lift our confidence and also move us up the table.
“The fans can help us also by coming down to support us as they give us more energy.”
The Nigeria U23 star Faleye, 20, has scored a goal in nine appearances for Innsbruck this season.
