A top representative of Wilfred Ndidi has told only SCORENigeria that the decision of whether or not the Super Eagles star makes a big transfer in the January window rests with his Premier League club Leicester City.
Ndidi has lately been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United.
However, the player’s representative, who has been guiding Ndidi since his youth days with Nath Boys, insisted the 24-year-old defensive midfielder remains loyal to Leicester City.
“Leicester City will decide (whether to sell or not to sell) based on their own strategies,” he exclusively told SCORENigeria
“Wilfred still has a contract with his club till 2024 and he is very much loyal to the club.
“Clubs sell based on their strategies and so these strategies must align with the wishes of the player and his management.
“See what became of Harry Kane at Tottenham. His wish did not go with the strategy of the club and so he could not move to Manchester City.”
The top representative further informed SCORENigeria that Ndidi has not changed his intermediary as reported locally.
“He has not changed agents, he only appointed a marketing agent,” he clarified.
Ndidi has established himself in the Premier League since his arrival from Belgian club Genk in the 2016/17 season.
The representative told SCORENigeria around that same time scouts also proposed Ndidi to Manchester United.
