The new agents of Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle are pushing for him to be the next coach of French Ligue 1 club FC Nantes, SCORENigeria can exclusively report today.
The agents already have the coach of the Nantes reserve team on their books and they are now confident that should ‘The Canaries’ relegation worries deepen, Moroccan coach Kantari Ahmed will be fired for their latest client to take over the team.
It is understood that these agents have strong contacts at Nantes and unlike the speculations linking Eric Chelle with Olympique Marseille, he has been proposed to ‘The Canaries’.
Eric Chelle’s time with both Morocco and the Super Eagles will now stand him in good stead to be head of a Ligue 1 club after he previously worked in the French amateur league.
He is open to dumping the Super Eagles even before the end of his contract.
Nantes are second from bottom of the Ligue 1 table with 14 points 22 matches, eight clear points from safety.
Tomorrow, they welcome Le Havre in continuation of the Ligue 1.
