Terem Moffi’s transfer story is a very fast unfolding one that SCORENigeria can now report top La Liga clubs Villarreal and Real Sociedad have joined a hot pursuit that already has several Premier League clubs.
A top source told only SCORENigeria: “The Premier League clubs lead the race to sign him, but there are also some La Liga clubs now.
“So, don’t be surprised if he ends up in Spain.”
Villarreal, for one, are only renewing their interest in the 23-year-old striker after they put in a bid for him last year and FC Lorient insisted he was not for sale.
Premier League suitors for Moffi include West Ham, Everton, Aston Villa and Southampton.
The French Ligue 1 club now wish to cash in big time on Moffi, who they bought for eight Million Euros in October 2020 from Belgian club KV Kortrijk.
The gamble on the then little known striker has more than paid off as his goals have helped them stay up in the French top league for the past two seasons and this season they are even among the front runners.
Moffi’s transfer market is 15 Million Euros, but his club are demanding for almost double that now.
The Super Eagles striker is therefore set to become their record outgoing transfer.
