SCORENigeria can exclusively reveal that Victor Boniface will be one of the unluckiest players around as a second ACL injury denied him a three million Euros transfer to Belgian champions Club Brugge.
A representative of the Bodo/Glimt striker specially informed SCORENigeria: “Victor was very close to signing for Club Brugge for three million Euros, that’s besides several other offers across Europe.
“But everything went out of the window when he suffered a second ACL injury in a freak team bus accident.”
The former Flying Eagles striker suffered his first ACL soon after he signed for Bodo/Glimt.
But he bounced back to help the Norwegian club win their first-ever league championship season.
He was looking forward to establish himself in Norway this year before he suffered a second ACL injury.
“The season is over for him with this injury,” the representative further revealed.
