SCORENigeria can exclusively report that Swedish club Hammarby have rejected a four million Euros bid by Belgian champions Club Brugge for sensational youngster Akinkunmi Amoo.
“Hammarby have rejected an offer of four million Euros for the boy,” a source familiar with the transaction informed SCORENigeria
“They believe they can get far more for him.”
‘Akin’ is the rave of the moment in only his first full season in Sweden.
The 18-year-old forward has scored twice in five games thus far.
Last season, he did not score in six appearances all as a substitute.
The former Golden Eaglets star has already been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs like Atletico Madrid, Valencia as well as Leicester City in the Premier League.
The player himself has insisted his focus remains with his club, where he signed a long-term contract last June when he turned 18.
