SCORENigeria can exclusively report that the search for a new Super Eagles coach will soon come to an end after the NFF technical committee today recommended three coaches for the consideration of the executive committee.
This followed several hours of deliberation by the eight-man technical committee in Abuja today.
It is now expected that the NFF will shortly announce their choice for the top post.
A source will not reveal the identities of the recommended coaches, but said a painstaking process was done to ensure the interest of Nigeria was paramount in this decision.
“We all have our interests, but Nigeria should always come first,” an official told SCORENigeria
“The many interests this appointment has generated is unprecedented, but it also showed that football truly unites this country.
“And now whoever is eventually announced should get the support of all Nigerians so that he can help bring the country some much-needed joy.”
