Ex-Golden Eaglets skipper Sani Abacha cancels contract in Hungary

Former Golden Eaglets captain Sani Suleiman Abacha has mutually terminated his contract with Hungarian club Honved Budapest.

The highly-rated midfielder or fullback failed to establish himself at the club.

Sources at the club said the contract termination will take effect this week.

He is now a free agent.

Kebbi-born Abacha, 19, signed a two-year contract with the Budapest club in October 2020 soon after he turned 18.
