Eurosport football expert Joacim Jonsson has tipped Jerome Akor to be among three players to finish top of the goal scorers’ chart in the Norwegian second division in the new season.
The other two strikers tipped for the Goal King top prize are Adem Guven (Kongsvinger) and Thomas Olsen (Lillestrom).
Last season, Akor scored thrice in a dozen games for Sogndal no thanks to a long-term injury he suffered.
The Flying Eagles striker’s heroics that won Sogndal their first-ever Norway Youth Cup two years ago are still been spoken off.
The Norwegian second-tier league will kick off July 3 with Sogndal away at Asane.
