Super Eagles stars Ola Aina, Terem Moffi and Zaidu Sanusi are all through to the quarterfinal of the UEFA Europa League.
Ola Aina came on as a substitute for Nottingham Forest to fight back from a 1-0 home loss to Danish club FC Midtyjlland and win the return leg 2-1 before they won the penalty shootout 3-0 to reach the last eight of the competition.
Super Eagles striker Moffi, who scored in the first leg in Germany, played the entire game for FC Porto in the second leg against Stuttgart.
Porto won 4-1 on aggregate after the 2-1 win in Germany.
Zaidu Sanusi was a late first half sub for the Portuguese league leaders.
However, new Super Eagles call-up Yira Sor was not that lucky after his Belgian club Genk were spanked 5-1 to crash out 5-2 on aggregate by German club Freiburg.
The speedy winger was a second-half sub.
