Former Esperance captain Michael Eneramo was on hand when the Tunis club’s new signing Anayo Iwuala scored the goal that won the Tunisian Super Cup at the expense of CS Sfaxien at the weekend.
Iwuala showed his class with a well-taken strike to give Esperance victory.
It was a great start to life in Tunisia for the former Enyimba winger.
Eneramo already occupies a special place in the history of Esperance after he scored 51 goals in 86 appearances in his first stint with them between 2004 and 2010.
The big striker won a league and cup double with ‘The Blood and Gold’ in 2007.
The former Super Eagles striker returned for a short stint in 2018, when he scored a goal in five games.
