Coach Fatai Osho has saluted Enyimba for carrying out the “Master Plan” which sunk home team FC San Pedro 5-2 for ‘The People’s Elephant’ to advance to the quarterfinal of the CAF Confederation Cup in style.
“The boys masterfully carried out the Master Plan for us to score five goals away from home against a sound team like San Pedro,” the Enyimba coach said.
“They came at us and so doing sacrificed their defence and we went at them.
“We were tactically disciplined and the boys followed every detail of the Master Plan.”
The big road win ensured Enyimba finished behind Group D winners Hassania Agadir of Morocco with 10 points from six matches.
The draw for the knockout rounds of the Confederation Cup will be staged in Cairo Wednesday.
