SCORENigeria can report that a committee saddled with hiring a new coach for Enugu Rangers has short listed Mangut Mbwas, Usman Abdalla and Monday Odigie for the top post.
It was further learnt that it is now a straight fight between Mbwas and Abdalla.
Former Enyimba and Wikki Tourists coach Abdalla has all the coaching credentials, but Mbwas is currently supervising the club’s pre-season preparation and proved to be a very valuable No 2 to Salisu Yusuf last season.
Former Plateau United coach Abdu Maikaba as well as Kennedy Boboye, who led Akwa United to a historic NPFL championship last season, were also considered for the Rangers top post.
