Enugu Rangers will be boosted by the return from injury of Ifeanyi George, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu and Uche John when they visit Al Masry of Egypt Sunday in continuation of the CAF Confederation Cup Group A.
All three players missed the opening day 3-1 loss at home to another Egyptian club, Pyramids FC.
Coach Salisu Yusuf said they hope to get a result on Sunday afternoon in Port Said.
“The return of some experienced campaigners from injury will to a large extent help our push in Egypt against a side that won away from home and also won a domestic cup match on Thursday,” he said.
“We appreciate the fact that our opponents are good, but we are very determined and prepared to get something from the encounter.”
Rangers skipper Tope Olusesi is banned for this game after he was sent off against Pyramids FC last week.
Al Masry S.C, who parade Nigerians Austin Amutu and Emeka Eze, have scored seven times and conceded twice in their last two matches.
