Austrian Bundesliga side TSV Hartberg, who already have former Golden Eaglets skipper Samson Tijani on their books, have announced the signing of youngster Kelvin Emmanuel Igbonekwu.
Details of the transfer were not made known, but delighted officials described the player as having “extreme potentials”.
Abuja-born Igbonekwu was on the matchday squad for his team’s Bundesliga game at home against LASK Saturday.
Samson Tijani is on loan at Hartberg from another Austrian Bundesliga club, Red Bull Salzburg.
