The media spotlight is once again beamed on Emmanuel Dennis at Club Brugge after it was reported that he stopped training with the Belgian champions after he “felt some pains”.
The injury story has been taken with a grain of salt in Belgium after various reports suggested he has this season been nursing many “injuries”.
This was after a much-expected transfer out of Belgium did not go through and that included a move to English club West Bromwich Albion after he was not granted a work permit in the UK.
It would be recalled that Dennis, 23, caused a major storm when he got off the team bus heading for a UEFA Champions League clash at Borussia Dortmund after he was not allowed to sit where he wanted to.
Reports have suggested “impossible” Dennis will be offloaded in this January transfer window.
There is already interest from Shanghai SPIG and Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin.
