Emmanuel Dennis has said he is proud to be recalled by the Super Eagles for the AFCON in Cameroon.
The Watford winger has been frozen out of the Eagles after playing in a 2021 AFCON qualifier in Sierra Leone in November 2022 amid rumours of attitude problems.
On Saturday, he was named on a 28-man squad for the AFCON.
“Proud to get a call up to represent my country. Naija boy,” he tweeted with a love heart, a Nigerian flag and an Eagles emoji.
Dennis has thus far scored seven goals and provided five assists in the Premier League following his arrival from Belgian champions Club Brugge in the summer.
