Emmanuel Dennis is again in the news for the wrong reason after he was handed a three-month driving ban in Belgium for over speeding.
Dennis has gone through a rather turbulent time at Belgian champions Club Brugge before his loan transfer to Cologne in the German Bundesliga in January.
The 23-year-old forward was flagged off on September 21, 2019, at a speed of no less than 134 kilometres per hour, where only 90 kiolmetres was allowed.
Dennis stated earlier that he was not behind the wheels, but who was? He could not answer that.
In the police court, his lawyer also asked for an adjournment so that he could find out who the driver of the Mercedes was, but the judge denied this.
The player has already been convicted for hit-and-run crime in 2017, but in 2019 he was prosecuted for being involved in an accident.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, he has now got a three-month driving ban and a fine of 704 Euros.
He will also have to take another written and practical driving test.
