Media reports said Emmanuel Dennis cost newly promoted Premier League club Watford about five Million Euros, which is a huge knockdown price from the 25 Million Euros Club Brugge had hoped to sell him.
According to Het Nieuwsblad , Club Brugge will receive between four and five Million Euros for the 23-year-old winger after a tumultuous past season, which saw him being shipped out to Cologne on loan halfway through the campaign.
Dennis transfer market value has plummeted from an all-time 17 Million Euros last year to only five Million Euros no thanks to a dip in form and off-the-pitch tantrums which has included a driving ban and a highly publicized row over a seat on the team bus ahead of a Champions League clash.
He had cost Club Brugge just over a Million Euros when he signed from Ukrainian club FC Zorya four years ago.
He has won two caps for the Super Eagles and has also played for the Nigeria U23s.
