William Troost Ekong has inched closer to signing a three-year contract with Greek club PAOK.
Last season, the 29-year-old Super Eagles defender played on loan in Serie A with Salernitana from Watford.
His Watford contract runs till June 2025.
He has previously played in Belgium, Turkey, Norway and Holland.
His limited game time at his club last season accounted for him losing his starting spot in the Super Eagles.
PAOK are a very ambitious club who want to reclaim the Greek league crown in the coming season after they finished fourth last season.
