William Ekong, Leon Balogun and Semi Ajayi are among the first arrivals at the Super Eagles training camp in Abuja ahead of Friday’s 2022 World Cup playoffs clash against Ghana.
Torino defender Ola Aina and Frank Onyeka of Brentford are the other call-ups in Abuja.
There were injury doubts over Watford central defender Ekong after he suffered a muscle strain in training at his Premier League club.
However, he has since fully recovered in time for the crucial World Cup playoffs against the Black Stars.
Officials said the team will begin training today as more players are due to fly in from their bases overseas.
The Eagles will fly out to Ghana Wednesday.
Friday’s clash between the two West African rivals will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Kick-off time is 8.30 pm in Nigeria.
