Egyptian club Aswan have been handed a transfer ban after they lost their case against former Lobi Stars and Plateau United star Raphael Ayagwa at FIFA.
In 2022, midfielder Ayagwa joined Aswan on a free transfer in a bid to be keep them up in the Egyptian top league.
However, they were eventually relegated and Ayagwa led several players out of the club.
FIFA have now ruled that Ayagwa lawfully terminated his contract with Aswan.
They also ordered the club to pay the player all his entitlements.
